tiff stack processing for autosoper requires a greyscale (0-255) cast of the hu ct density values.

If part of the issue is #119 are bc the values need to be still density vals-

@sbelsk * create in the preprocessing module a toggle in the PV gen that outputs alternative PV without the castTIFF function

Rather than proceed with this modification for 3d/4dct.. suggest a different processing schema for 3d
