Detectors are critically important
TLSE is critically important
Need to characterize the detector because pointing is so bad
Si Grisms are a great idea
IR is tricky due to cooling -> stick to where you don't need to cool, but:
Cooling could be an interesting tech demo if science demands longer wavelength
One great experiment and not more than one or two tech demos
Consider a "Team X" or "Tiger Team" activity where experts review the idea over a day or two
Telluric absorption is a good reason for space
Chances are there will be a call for a bigger mission, maybe next fall or later?
