I did wonder why you couldn't apply a 2-T model to the espadons data
but I see from your email on 5 Sep that this might be too difficult.

One thing that would be interesting to help interpret what we get from ZDI
maps better would be to quantify how much the largest dark spots from
the brightness maps may or may not reflect the underlying level of spot
coverage. Could you compare the projected spot fill factor from the
published ZDI map with the estimates you get from your modelling of the
V-band (or TiO) variability?
[ ] Quantify the effect of magnetic fields on the spectral lines
Also, as you point out one of the limitation is not including magnetic
fields in the IR spectral analysis even if in a simple 2-cpt way and I
can see that may well be out of scope here beyond maybe quantifying the
scale of effect it is likely to have. Is it difficult to implement this
for the future ? There will be plenty of datasets coming that could
benefit hugely from this.
