Please Describe The Problem To Be Solved
Currently, when you have your search bar at the top of the screen, and click the "Tabs" button next to it, the drawer with all tabs will open from the bottom of the screen and be attached from it. It's an inconsistency that quite frequently bothers me, even in default firefox.
Suggest A Solution
I don't know if it's possible at all to change the behavior of it or add custom options to the tabs drawer at all, since it's also just like this in the normal version of firefox for android. Feel free to close the issue if not or if it's not worth considering. My suggestions would be, adding multiple options for the user to choose from:
A full-screen mode for the tab drawer, where instead of a drawer it becomes a view with all tabs that takes up the entire screen. This used to be the default for some other browsers like chrome and edge a while back, edge still kinda does it.
A drawer that opens from the top of the screen, just the exact same thing as it already exists but sliding open from the top.
