Hi,

I am providing waterfox-classic for Gentoo in my package repo and each time you move the version tag to a new commit, I have to re-download the entire source-tarball and create new checksums for the tarball. that is quite cumbersome and sometimes I cannot do this in a timely manner so users who want to install or upgrade waterfox-classic meanwhile will receive a checksum error after downloading the tarball.

Can't you simply add new version tags like 2021.11.x?
