Every game's store page on the steam store seems to be broken; can't view the videos/images or reviews, and various other things look wrong. Firebug spits out these errors:

Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at blob:https://store.steampowered.com/a4526bf5-7b9f-406a-b259-5f6754e45bde (“script-src https://store.steampowered.com 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval' https://store.akamai.steamstatic.com/ https://store.akamai.steamstatic.com/ https://*.google-analytics.com https://www.gstatic.com https://recaptcha.net https://www.gstatic.cn/recaptcha/ https://steamcommunity-a.akamaihd.net”).

I was going to report it too, The problem also occurs with older versions of Waterfox.

Felipefpl commented 2 years ago

I just noticed this myself, this didnt happen with me before the latest update.

lokpro commented 2 years ago

I think the problem is the Optional Chaining ?. operator, not supported in WaterFox. (several reported issues)

I am a web developer, not WaterFox dev.

Still broken on 04. Is there anything that is NOT broken on Classic anymore?

qeerl commented 2 years ago

Same issues with the old version 56.3 (2020.01), and also with Firefox 56.0.2 and Palemoon 29

Suddenly it is now working properly.

There's been an effort to tell Valve about this. I wrote to Gabe Newell myself telling him that disabled people use older browsers due to a lack of customisation features and hackability that newer browsers simply don't possess. I told him that Waterfox Classic was a good touchstone for the old browsers people used to understand where we are.

I think that all the voices getting in contact with them about this mattered. Valve has always been a really responsive, awesome company and this is just... them doing that again.
