Since Firefox 44.0, cookie prompting has been removed. It would be great, if cookie prompting were reintroduced.
One developer has been maintaining a Firefox cookie prompt patch here: https://www.savarese.org/patches/firefox.html — Though he does not know for how long the upstream code will support it going forward.
