2 years ago Mostly restored is now fully restored. I also restored from my backup the cookies.sqlite file in the profile folder and all saved logins inside my containers are restored.

2 years ago Thanks for reporting - we will take a look into why this is occurring on upgrade.
What happened?
I use the Firefox Multi-Account Containers and installed G5.0.1 via the auto-update today. After the update installation completed the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension has been reset to default.
I was able to mostly restore my configuration from last night's backup by copying over the containers.json file directly in the profile folder and all of the moz-extension+++ folders under profile/storage/default .
