Cannot change pages while waiting for a page to finish loading Javascript

What happened?

I have a Wikipedia account with a couple of Wikipedia userscripts (not in the monkey sense but Wikipedia). I've noticed that sometimes the browser sort of hangs while JavaScript loads: I can click on things but they do not really change things, at most the tab looks like it's active but it's not. It all gets processed after the JS finishes loading.

Can confirm this as well. It's a G6 specific problem because I never had this issue with G5. When I go to wikipedia the browser hangs until I get the not responding error. Nothing has changed addon wise between G5 and G6.
