Pasting of files from the clipboard doesn't work

What happened?

I've noticed that ever since moving from firefox the image pasting function doesn't seem to work, neither through the context menu or with the ctrl+v hotkey, nothing from the clipboard seems to be allowed at all, only pasting text works. Originally I though that this was only on certain sites like google's reverse image search or imgops front page, however, as I'm writing this issue I cannot get the paste/upload feature to work either. I've tried it on a private window as well just to check if it was an extension conflict but that didn't work as well.

So out of reflex I tried to reverse image search something on google and the pasting did work this time, but it only did so because I used the sharex copy feature for "Image" instead of "File". So my guess it that it's only working because there isn't a file path associated to the data in the clipboard?

Issue went away with 6.5.0 stable.
