More than a year has passed since the JP PC client was released, but this launcher has not yet been translated into Japanese. I hope this will help.

This request is not urgent, so feel free to consider it when you have time.

The font currently used by Better HI3 Launcher, FZLanTingHei-B-GBK.ttf, cannot display Japanese characters correctly. The text is very jaggy and appears as a mixture of sans-serif and serif typefaces.

For example, in this sentence the small letters are misplaced and the Chōonpu appear in serif font. スクリーンショット 2023-12-20 172047

Could you please use a font that can display Japanese characters correctly instead, such as Noto Sans?

I am aware of the issue yet sadly I have not saved the official jp font. Could you please check whether you still have the font in the game directory under BH3_Data\StreamingAssets\MiHoYoSDKRes\HttpServerResources\font? The file should be named ja-jp.ttf.

As I remember, ja-jp.ttf existed until around version 6.5, but it seems that it no longer exists. I looked inside the game directory but couldn't find it. (Because of this, there is wrong kanji issue in the in-game information page of the HI3 JP client recently.) If I remember correctly, Kozuka Gothic Pro is used for ja-jp.ttf, but I don't recommend to use because it's expensive font. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help.
