Icon states provide better feedback whether the machine is turned on, or just a player sitting in there twiddling their thumbs idly while ghosts scream at the monitor that nobody turned it on
Machine offers consent dialog automatically after a delay
Poll for consent at the start, not finish, so a player doesn't have to wait another whole run if they miss the dialog
Resist to escape actually works properly without making the machine permanently broken
Breaking out mid-cycle causes minor damage
