The SMD simply does not want to export

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Open Blender. I use r45288, but almost any other seem to do.
2. Export SMD.
3. Observe the warning. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see a nice SMD output. Instead, a 0kb file is created, and I get 
any of these:

Gettin' pretty annoyin'.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Various. Tried r211, r210, 1.1.7, 1.1.5, etc.
Tried a couple of Blender as well. 2.62, 2.61, 2.60, 2.59, 2.58, etc.
Although primarily on Windows 7 64-bit, I've also done this on Windows 8 
64-bit, and Windows 7 32-bit.

Please provide any additional information below.
I have both Python32 and Python27 installed.

In all of those screens you appear to be using an SVN build of Blender. Don't 
do that.

Given how many different versions you must have floating around on your 
computer at this point, I recommend deleting all Blender installs and the 
C:\Users\m\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\ folder and starting again.

Once you have done that, download these stable releases:

http://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.62/blender-2.62-release-windows32.e
xe
http://blender-smd.googlecode.com/files/io_smd_tools-117.zip

They will work with each other.

Hey! It worked like a charm! Thanks! Although I might have trouble letting go 
of all those cool features in the SVN...
