After Budgie adopted Status Notifier system for tray icons, some icons for certain apps are not visible, the :gear: icon is showed instead. The issue is probably related to Status Notifier specs, that not allow full path for icons.

enable tray icon in the settings
witness gear icon instead of app icon
Actual result
