I'm having an error message in the console #33

It's saying that it's unable to read of the audio assets

I even uninstalled and reinstalled the mod.

Did you drag the folder named "Insanity remastered" into the plugins folder along with the DLL?

This method is incompatible with automatic installation from Thunderstore which will break mod managers though. I'd recommend you redo your folder structure like this:

├── BepInEx
│   └── plugins
│       ├── assets
│       │   ├── soundresources_drones
│       │   ├── soundresources_hallucination
│       │   ├── soundresources_lc
│       │   ├── soundresources_sfx
│       │   └── soundresources_stingers
│       └── InsanityRemastered.dll
├── CHANGELOG.md
├── icon.png
├── manifest.json
└── README.md

And then make sure you are reading your assets from BepInEx/plugins/BudgetAirpods-InsanityRemastered/assets instead of BepInEx/plugins/InsanityRemastered

Encountered the same issue after installing this mod with the Thunderstore automatic install method. I was able to fix the error by renaming the folder containing the sound files to "InsanityRemastered" but this makes it so that I have to instruct my friends to do the same and complicates things.

Yeah I installed through Thunderstore so does my friends.

Same here, I am also having this issue. I am using thunderstore mod manager and it keeps occurring like this issue. I don't know how to do the things that said to do here since I don't know if I can directly access the folder for thunderstore since its not steam. As well as I don't know how change the sound files to "InsanityRemastered"? I don't know where to go to edit the name of the folder.

Guys, this issue went away when i downgraded to v1.0.8 but its not the most desirable fix

How would you degrade on the thunderstore mod manager?

you would need to go to the get mods section

You would need to go to the Get Mods section. Look for the Insanity mod and click download. it will give you a section to drop down and select the previous version
