Scoped CSS for Theming #6859

This is an idea, on how theming could be brought as a first step to BB using scoped CSS files. There would be an Organization wide Custom CSS file where we could customize default look for all Applications and another Application wide CSS file, which would be used to override CSS per application.

It would be even better, if these files could handle pre-processors, so we can write CSS or SCSS.

At a later stage, these files could be build inside the builder using a visual CSS editing section.

Hey @poirazis . I love your thinking here - it's truly great to read. This is something we've spoken about a lot internally. It's kind of what we call Global design. We plan for global design to be a paid feature FYI.

Glad you like it @joebudi ! My suggestion would be to make it as closely coupled as you can with Figma (or similar) to enable the gap between Front End designs to be almost non existent. I think this would increase the value of the paid feature to the Corporate users and Agencies.

Cheers for the suggestion. Will feed this back to the team when creating the spec. Thanks @poirazis
