The number of downloads of each plugin would be a useful metric to ascertain relevance in addition to the current popularity field.

We should probably scrape the number of downloads per file to have those stats as well

as much as I would like to do this, it simply isn't feasible. this would need close to to full generations of the data to keep the information accurate, and with the limiters in place it would take way to long for generations to complete.
