Problem
Email Confirmation During Registration
Newly onboarded employees experience issues when registering their email. The confirmation email lacks a subject line, making it easy to overlook. Additionally, the email does not contain a button to verify the account, leading to confusion and delays in account activation.
Admin Approval Process
During the admin approval process, required data fields that are missing must currently be manually filled in. This is inefficient and prone to errors. Ideally, once the missing information is flagged, the system should allow the user to simply click "Save" to complete the process without needing to manually input the data.
Solution
Email Confirmation Enhancement:
Update the email confirmation system to include a clear subject line such as “BIGRR: Email Confirmation Required.”
Include a visible and functional "Verify Email" button within the confirmation email to streamline the verification process.
Admin Approval Automation:
Modify the admin approval interface to auto-fill missing data fields based on available information except contract related field.
Users should only need to click "Save" for the system to automatically populate and save the necessary information.
Measurement Metrics
Time to Verify Email: Track the average time it takes for a newly onboarded employee to complete email verification.
Admin Approval Efficiency: Measure the time saved by automating the missing data fill during admin approval, comparing it to the manual process time.
