App's option seem blocked in Yosemite (Mac OS 10.10) - #782

I've two Apple machines at home. I've done a clean install of Yosemite on my 
macbook pro, on my iMac instead i've updated from Mavericks. 
Both machines have the same problem with Yosemite, there're no association with 
the files that Unarchiver can extract. 
In addiction the preferences panel of application seems blocked, no way to 
select any file association.
Seems to be no integration with the OS.

It doesn't just seem to be blocked, Apple has blocked this functionality for 
all sandboxed apps in Yosemite.

You can either complain to them, or get the non-sandboxed Legacy version.
