Send Fireteam invitation though the API #1504

With the implementation of Crossplay and bungie_names joining, I would like to know how the implementation in the API will look like for the squad invitation.

I have a bot in telegram for organizing events where squads are created. It would be great if we could automatically invite people to the fireteam without having to type each nicknames.

Is that possible? I couldn't find anything in the documentation.

Fireteam invites via the Bnet API are only available through the Bungie.net Fireteams feature on our 1st-party web and mobile clients.

We don't have anything to share about this being available to 3rd-party apps, but I agree that it would be very cool. Maybe someday.
