Great to see the renewed Bunsenlabs! Succesfull installation of Bunsenlabs on Acer 522 (Debian Bookworm core install). But no background desktop image as I have seen on older version of Bunsenlabs on the same Acer 522. Screen is now black. Right mouse click and I can open and use almost everything, terminal, browser, vlc etc. Only package locate errors in log for: bunsen-blop, -common, - configs, -conky (found conky in /usr/bin/conky), -docs, -exit, -fortune, -images, -archive-keyring, -numix-icon-theme, -os-release, -pipemenus, -themes, -thunar, -utilities, -welcome, -material-solarized-surplusplus-icon-theme. How can I correct for these errors and how to get the original dekstop?

Hello @rene51 If you choose the "base" install (is that what you meant by "core install"?) then only the minimum packages needed for a working desktop are installed. This list: https://github.com/BunsenLabs/bunsen-netinstall/blob/boron/pkgs-norecs-base It includes some of the bunsen-* packages you report as missing so something has gone wrong. You might be able to find a hint in $HOME/.cache/bunsen-netinstall-logs/install.log

If you want the full BunsenLabs desktop, I would suggest you try running the install script one more time, this time choosing the "full" install.

John, thank you for the reply. I attached the install.log file. As you can see I installed Debian 12 Bookworm AMD64, core system (your words in HINTS) no root password and with only 'standard system utilities' marked. Choosed 1. full but same errors as before (see: install.log) install.log Hope you can see what went wrong or what I did wrong. Hope it can be fixed because the parts that do work like, e.g. web browser, thunar and terminal are super fast! Regerds, René
