This pull request is to commit to the base branch the required changes to fix issue 88, see: https://github.com/BusPirate/Bus_Pirate/issues/88

I took liberty to modify the README file inside the forked branch, but it should not be part of this pull request. Can this file be ignored during pull ?

I'll take a look at this right now - unfortunately I got stuck on a few other things due to work and family commitments, sorry for that.

@agatti Nice to see you again! :smiley: pls note that this commit is also trying to alter readme if I understand it correctly, perhaps @ChristopherSamSoon pushed too many files by an accident

@ChristopherSamSoon can you please check out the latest version and see if it works? I took the liberty of re-arranging things up a bit and cleaning it up, but the logic should be pretty much the same.
