Cooking cheese by smelting a bucket of milk also consumes the bucket itself, instead of leaving an empty bucket behind.
I also did a quick test to see if it was a mod conflict - a simple install on forge 36.1.25 with literally only sushi go crafting + its requirements still has this issue.
