A way to extract differentially expressed proteins #2

Open BadassBagle opened 4 years ago

Hello, I'm doing some work that requires me to find up and down-regulated proteins. Is there a way to extract the proteins selected from either of the volcano plots and export them into a text file or an excel sheet?

Thank you

Hi,

The data folder should have a file called “protein_summarized_data.tsv”. This is the full results file for the protein analysis. The statistical results for the comparisons should be at the end of the columns. You will need the “logFC” columns to get the up and down list of proteins. Positive values are proteins up-regulated in the group listed first in the contrast_matrix file. Negative values will be the proteins down-regulated in the first group of the contrast_matrix file.

Best, Stephanie

Hi, Respected Stephanie, I am new to proteomics analysis. Could you please help me in doing differential expression analysis. Below are the attached "proteinGroups.txt" file and "evidence.txt" file. I don't know how to create an annotation file with these files. proteinGroups.txt evidence.txt
