Droidwall destroyed APN settings? #181

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
After trying to get Droidwall to allow MMS and Messaging through to no success,
I just uninstalled the app. Apparently all of its settings remained, because
now I have no 3G access. Also, WiFi cannot connect anymore to re download the
app.
Samsung Captivate with stock Eclair from Odin.

DroidWall does not change any APN setting. It also does not make any persistent
change on the device.

However, if you uninstall DroidWall while it is ENABLED, the rules will remain
active in memory (that is how iptables works). All you have to do is to reboot
your device so they go away.

BTW, to allow MMS, you should enable the Messaging app to access 3G.
