In Android 4.3 log enable needed #294

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Internet access for some apps (K9-Mail / MyFritz!) for Wlan is only granted, if
logging is active.
Disabling logging will result in denied access.

This is possible not an issue of droidwall, as it also applies to the firewall
in avast.

Wokaround: enable log

Can confirm for both, 3G and WiFi, on SG2 (i9100) running CM 10.2 nightlies
(currently cm-10.2-20130818-NIGHTLY-i9100).

Also "show rules" doesnt show any rule but
"/data/data/com.googlecode.droidwall.free/app_bin/iptables_armv5"

Possible duplication of Issue #264

It's probably because of SE for Android (SELinux) introduced in 4.3 and later.
Please fix it. As mentioned enabling log solves the problem temporarily.
