Daniel says to look at the individual components in the KBase gram negative biomass reaction, and see if there is anything we can remove.
This spreadsheet has the biomass components for a lot of diverse organisms: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1b3WDuthl7na4TW8TBAvwULYKAI62vna6Jua9SbYF_ig/edit#gid=855585088
It doesn't have an Alteromonas, but could look at gamma-proteobacteria or Pseudomonadota.
The spreadsheet comes from this paper: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1096717616302415
Is the biomass reaction nested? Do all the amino acids go to make the protein component? Maybe just one amino acid is blocked so now all of the protein component is blocked.
