here's a list of the compounds A.mac 1002 grew on for us: acetate glucose glycerol-3-phosphate DHPS (dihydroxypropanesulfonate) proline tyrosine glutamate valine

These were added to the L1 minimal medium NCMA_algal medium_L1.pdf

And Mary Ann said:

For growing bacteria, my lab also adds 3 mM ammonium, otherwise we follow this protocol. Let me know if you need to know the salts composition…we mix up individual salts to make an artificial seawater base, just in case that’s relevant for you.
