(Susana 4/17/2020). Problem: stimulus was not removed from all frames of a video. This problem happened quite a bit with my TSLO videos, even when the videos look “fine”. However, after inspecting several videos with this problem, I have a hunch: it seems like when when part of a frame was much darker than the rest (e.g. the upper left quadrant, even though the stimulus cross was clearly visible), the cross would not be removed from that frame. But sometimes it seemed like frames immediately before and after these “darker frames” were also affected (i.e. stimulus cross was not removed). I tried to see if I could do a “band pass filtering” process before stimulus removal. Alas, no, band pass filtering would not accept the raw .avi file, even when I rename the file to have the correct labeling.
