fix(no_std): the no_std implementation was inconsistent #32

the implementation of platform::windows::canonicalise would panic upon dropping a buffer. This should help that issue. Also in the test implementation of canonicalise, a replace in a String would cause the programm to crash.

Closes #25 hopefully....
