windows_run.bat keeps reinstalling everything even when roop-unleashed has been installed #653

Everytime i install roop unleashed, it opens one time like it should... when i want to open it again tho it does not only check for updates but starts reinstalling .... what can i do, please take notice of the fact that im a total noob at this

Do you perhaps close the window before all the models are downloaded? This can take quite some time! Please paste your output here, so we know what the installer tries to do.

for explanation, batch run 2 is the output after i installed it 4 the first time batch run 1 is the first run, it seems there is a problem with the ffmpeg files, correct me if im wrong, i have no background in IT whatssoever

Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden. WARNUNG: Die gespeicherten Daten werden auf to 1024 Zeichen gekürzt.

It looks like at least the ffmpeg installation can't cope with your rather long path (c:\Users\thebo\ai\roop-unleashed). Delete your old folder and try installing into a folder with a shorter name, for example 'c:\roop\'.

I have the same problem. after the first installation, when I run windows_bat a second time, it does not limit itself to checking for the update. first_time_windows_run_bat.txt second_time_windows_run_bat.txt

It's always downloading the insightface installer, that's a bug. But you answered that you want to update:

For me it did not solve the problem, still the same issue with the ffmpeg installation... i used the path c:\roop ad deleted the old files... any ther suggestions?

Anyway there's another issue thread about ffmpeg with some suggestions -> #598 If that's not working, I would suggest installing it by yourself and adding it to the path like described here: https://de.wikihow.com/FFmpeg-unter-Windows-installieren

Whatup dude it worked, seems like windows_run has trouble installing ffmpeg 4 some reason as you said
