To add here some things I'm wondering:

• What would the directory structure be when running the workflow (without AiiDA)? Each icon run (internally named cluster) in a separate directory? Each cycle (init, yearly, and icon) in separate directory, as well? (note: I'd rename lowercase icon to bi-monthly icon or something similarly, to avoid confusion with uppercase ICON, which is just the process running the ICON executable, and as init and yearly actually specify time information).
• I saw that in the current visualization code, the task nodes, inputs, and outputs are somewhat generated on the fly. As we need to pass concrete entities to the WorkGraph (i.e. not one task with lag data attached to it), I'm planning to add date-related attributes to the WcData and WcTask classes. Just wondering which date is relevant for one icon cluster that spans two months. Should all processes inside this cluster (that is, preproc, ICON, postproc and store & clean 1) be denoted with, say, the start date?
