problems with the heart #4

just built the game, awesome work! playing through the first little bit, and i instantly noticed a few things strange.

the heart moves slowly while text is being read
the heart moves faster when moving diagonally (also when walking normally)
the heart moves slowly while pellets are thrown

this is on my physical dsi, so no idea if its just an issue with that or something else.

another issue i just noticed, when toriel throws smth at flowey the thing goes behind him or something but you can see a black box around it

oh lol dummy's having a stroke is it reproducible? I think I got that error once before but sadly I couldn't reproduce it

to get it what i did was i read all of the signs up until that point, then tried to fight it, then talk -> first option then talk -> second option

Okay I've had a chance to look at these! My conclusions are that:

I can't replicate the thing about the heart moving slower while the text is being printed. (I can't test on real hardware right now, but I will). I also can't replicate it with the pellets, maybe for the same reason.
About the heart moving faster diagonally, and while walking, this is an intended feature as the original games implements movement this way. I kind of agree why, for example in the room where toriel runs away from you, it would feel weird to slow down in the x axis while moving diagonally.
I've fixed the dialogue on one of the latest commits.

I'll test on real hardware as soon as I can :)

Not yet 😅 I'm finishing work on another project of min, the Layton Editor, before continuing work on this project. Once I release 0.6 of that other project, I'll come back to Undertale 😄
