FYI the LA Data and Donuts team is doing a two day data science training at the Southern California Association of Governments 1/31-2/1.

Also the Carpentries have a great curriculum that could be something to either pull from or use as instructors for training sessions: https://carpentries.org/

This would also be something that'd be great to collaborate and potential partner with academic institutions on. Lots of momentum behind public interest technology training.
