Thanks for reporting. Could you try the following:
1) Go into Settings
2) Without changing anything press "Log in"
3) Try searching again
Does that work or are you still having problems?

For newer Exchange servers, the device needs reprovisioning after some time
and this was only done whenever settings were updated.
Fixed in the upcoming maintenance release.
