  1. In Namelist File Set cable_user%SOIL_STRUC = 'sli'

  2. In cable_canopy.F90 search for "cable_user%SOIL_STRUC" for sli-specific options for soil SEB and fwsoil

  3. In cable_cbm search for "cable_user%SOIL_STRUC" for call to sli_main instead of soilsnow

  4. In cable_define_types search for "cable_user%SOIL_STRUC" for allocation and deallocation of additional elements of veg and soilsnow structures

  5. In cable_parameters.F90 search for "cable_user%SOIL_STRUC" for additional sli-specific elements of veg and soilsnow structures

  6. In cable_output.F90 search for "cable_user%SOIL_STRUC" for additional sli-specific elements of veg and soilsnow structures
