Removing documentation that is out of date and duplicate from the documentation site.

@SeanBryan51 Do you want more information in the README? I'm keen to keep it lean and use the documentation site as much as possible.

I don't think it is worth having installation information as it only works at NCI and the installation is handled centrally.

Yep, I think the README should be brief since now we have a documentation page. We can just refer to the docs in the README file.
