Hi there! If you've never used GitHub or GitHub Issues before, have no fear: we're going to keep this simple. We're using the GitHub Issues feature just like you would use any other commenting system on the Internet.
Each "issue" is a specific topic. To create a discussion about a new topic, simply create a new issue. Enter a title for your issue and describe it in the comment field. Then click the green Submit New Issue button.
To discuss an open issue (reply to an existing discussion), simply click on the topic you're interested in discussing from the list of open issues, type your comment, and then click the green Comment button.
One last thing: you will need to create a GitHub account to use GitHub Issues. Not your thing? Drop us a line at [health@codeforsacramento.org](mailto:health@codeforsacramento.org?subject=Crowdsourcing Social Services Data).
