Add image to log in screen explanation text? #387

UIC would like to add an image of their campus ID pointing out where the barcode is located to the log in page. If this is possible, we should make it a customization option for all libraries and update the customization form.

Also Note: UIC is a single sign-on library. Options are probably different for single sign-on libraries vs. lastname/barcode libraries given that different log in pages are being used.

Other notes: Libraries will have to host the image locally and provide us with the location.

These images can't be in the pop-up version of the login screen.

If this will be allowed, for single sign-on libraries it would mean a library-hosted image could be displayed in the text area of #3 and/or #4 on https://www.carli.illinois.edu/newvufind-shibboleth-login-customization

If this will be allowed, for ILS authenticating libraries, it would mean a library-hosted image could be displayed in the text area of Login Information (Optional) of https://www.carli.illinois.edu/new-vufind-customization ?
(Isn’t this text sometimes in a pop-up box instead?)

@eschell Can you prioritize your investigations on this Issue so that we can find out if it is doable or not? UIC is asking about adding an image and would like to move to New VuFind in mid-March. Single-sign on is already configured but they have not yet filled out the shibboleth customization form; I will ask them to do that now. I'm going to remove "priority issue" label on this but leave as Accepted. This is done and complete for UIC (uses SSO) on https://i-share.carli.illinois.edu/vf-uic/MyResearch/UserLogin?auth_method=ILS but it not currently offered on the standard or SSO customization form. If another library asks about it, we'll evaluate it at that time.
