New VuFind is currently configured to display links on the Results page for Bibliographic 856 fields with first indicator 1, 4 or 7 AND second indicator 0 or 1. (See indicator definitions at
http://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd856.html.) We specifically suppress 856s with text "Table of Contents" from the Results List even if they match these indicator criteria because TOCs are very clearly NOT a version of the electronic resource and yet many are cataloged with second indicator 1. See Issue #234 for that work.
Can we add to that logic in New VuFind to suppress 856s with text "Sample" in any subfield from display on the Results list as well, regardless of indicators?
