Migrate Favorites from VuFind 0.6 to VuFind 3.x #87

Trinity Christian College - - Since the account login method has changed, are users’ Favorites going to be migrated? (I ask as someone with favorites in both our local catalog and the I-Share catalog…)

The numbers that "favorites" reference are different each time you re-index the system. That is one of the reasons we have not re-indexed VuFind 0.6.

The VuFind 3.x servers have their own index so none of the numbers will match the older system. You would click on your favorite and be shown a random item.

We are looking into ways to have favorites link to a static number, but do not have that implemented yet in VuFind 3.x.
