What exactly is shared residues %? #4

a number of superfamilies, for example 1.10.8.1190 have a 100% shared residues but 0% shared proteins with a pfam or a clan.

Shared residues is the percentage of residues shared between all domain members of a given CATH superfamily and a Pfam clan (or family).

Shared proteins (note these are whole proteins not domains) are the proteins shared between both a given CATH superfamily and a Pfam clan (or family), as a percentage of all proteins in the CATH superfamily OR the Pfam clan (or family).
