Describe the bug Currently, the documentation within the developer guide does not accurately reflect the steps required to create and publish a release.

At the moment, the steps do not include updating the release branch to the main branch, and also does not clearly state that the Version Deployment action should be launched on the release branch.

We should include these steps to give more clarity to future developers when curating releases.
