3 months ago Potential sources we're exploring below - I am reaching out to the OPP requestor to see which one is the best fit
- US EPA Layer on Community Water System Service Area Boundaries - which includes data on water providers submitted to the federally reported system data located in the Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS)
- Check out the Limitations section of this tab to make sure it includes the data we're looking for.
- Tap Score US Water Utilities Map - this is an open source map that displays water system boundaries of community water systems (services more than 25 people or at least 15 service connections year-round). It looks like it pulls from the Water Boards (DDW) (so maybe we pull directly from there?)- but then approximates or models boundaries where they are not publicly available or do not exist
- Water Boards Drinking Water System Area Boundaries (referenced above)
