What happens when you open the popup? Do you have a screenshot? Also, does
disabling
other extensions fix the problem?

I'll get back to you on that in a few days once I have time to fiddle with
testing that out.

I get this issue as well. When I set the extension to point to the iPhone
site, then try to
log in, I briefly get a popup dialog (too quick to catch what it says), then
the extension
freezes and I get the iPhone login page again. On the extension config page, I
can't
click on anything or change any of the options. Restarting the browser returns
it back
to normal. All the other extension modes work fine (gmail, igoogle, mobile,
etc). I
have been able to replicate these steps over and over.
I am using Google Chrome for Mac (5.0.307.9 beta). Thanks!

yuppers, same here. It doesn't crash chrome, but it crashes ChromeMilk and I
can't
figure out how to reset CM

I don't have a Mac, so unforunately I can't confirm this or fix it. If anyone
on a Mac
can code, please take a look at the code and see how it might be crashing.

this also happens to me on a PC (vista). i get the popup, which looks like it's
saying
"the password cannot be blank" (closes itself very fast, so i'm not 100% sure).
i have
entered the password though, so i'm not sure why it says that.
it does not freeze chrome at all though.

Can you follow the workaround here
http://code.google.com/p/chromemilk/wiki/KnownIssues
regarding iPhone version password issues and see if it helps?

I was able to get the iPhone view to work for the first time after switching to
the current dev release: 5.0.342.5
dev. As far as I know, nothing else in my environment has changed.
