This task has been completed by Zhou (should have been assigned to him). There are still some valuable observations in the above note that I will enter into a new proposal.

Following comments received as part of feedback from the Centers: • “Personally, I think the website and the way information is presented is too busy. For example, take the biomarkers and targets section, I don't think the DNA structure is needed there with every gene. A simpler way can be using a table with headers for genes, observations, centers and tier level. Different font colors can be used to distinguish between targets and biomarkers. Same for the the candidate drugs, remove DNA structure, make a table instead, that will enable more than 35 drugs to be seen at one time on a page.” • More effort on categorization is needed in order to guide reader. The “customize” function under each “Browse” page has more detailed and straightforward categories, and thus It will be better to highlight this “customize” function on the main page. For example, in current format, it is difficult to see “interactor” category • It would be nice to have the customize button/options on the right side of the page (almost like how online stores allow you to narrow down things by brand, color or size). That way, people would automatically see that you have the option to narrow down their selection • The terminology and data for “Compounds” vs “pertubagens” is confusing. For example, when browsing "Compounds and perturbagens", compounds are listed (#1-11) and then perturbagens (#12--). The meaning of “pertubagens” is unclear. Perhaps these should be separated instead of grouped together • Visually, it would look better if the yellow Disease Context box was the same height as the blue and green boxes (on Main Page) • A side menu would be nice that links to the biomarker, compounds, or disease context pages. That way, if you were looking at something on the biomarker page and wanted to check something on the disease context page, you could just use the side menu instead of going back to the home page • The blue box on the home page says “Compounds and Perturbagens”, but when you click on the browse button and go to that page, the title is reversed and slightly different, saying “Perturbagens, Candidate Drugs” (it would be nice if it was consistent from page to page)

Yes, I think we need to do this sooner rather than later. It would be great if you could coordinate. After we collect everyone's feedback we can start working on the requirements specification.

Good morning Aris, Should we schedule a quick call with Dashboard team to discuss and get the input? Thank You, Subashini

I am going to remove the assignment to Zhou. We need to develop concrete requirements before he can start working on it.

I suggest that we use this issue as a "catch all" for aggregating the various open tickets which essentially call for a redesign of the Browse landing pages. if this is agreeable then we can:
