Code to reproduce the simulations and figures for manuscript "A hybrid stochastic/deterministic model of single photon response and light adaptation in mouse rods." by C. Beelen, S. Asteriti, L. Cangiano, K.-W. Koch and D. Dell'Orco
Sorry Doctor Charlotte Beelen, another important question confuses me: Fig 3.7 in your dissertation. When set background 1860 photons/μm2s and saturating flash 6968 photons/μm2s. I use your code Figure10_andS10.m to plot 'stimulus'. My question is: why 80 photons/0.001 s before 10s ( timestep = 0.001s) ? Because I think there should be 1860(background)0.43 (area)/1000(timestep) = 0.8photons/0.001s. I also think there should be 6968 (flash) 0.43 (area) = 3000 photons at 10s. But the value of 'stimulus' at 10s is 300000. How they are calculated?![Uploading stimulus.png…]()
