Leave only one content bar/panel #15

dawnpatrolmustaine, Jan 17, 2012 Remove all lateral panels so that confusion is avoided and only one single area where data/information can be browsed is left in the interface. Characteristics of such panel:

  1. Should be on the left
  2. Should have a button to "Hide table of contents"
  3. Should have different categories referring to different types of information (i.e. resources, data, platforms & tools, etc).
  4. Legend needs to be removed from this panel

This issue is almost finished. The lateral panel is now in the left side and there is a button [<] that allow the user to hide/show it.

The item number 4 (Legend needs to be removed from this panel) is still pending to be done, that's why we decide to close this issue and marked as fixed and the item 4 will be followed in the issue #21
