Add zoom in/out buttons directly in the UI rather than relying on scroll wheel or pinch-to-zoom. Allows navigation of map without a scroll-wheel and emphasizes the zoomable nature of the map which might not be apparent to desktop users. Mobile users are ok, since they instinctively pinch/zoom.
