This issue is for planning and scoping the advanced end user functionality in the TIG 20019 grant. Feel free to add/edit this issue with ideas. When ideas/brainstorms have solidified into distinct tasks, we'll break them off into separate issues.

"As an end user, I should be able to..."

[ ] return to an interview and begin again at the last page I left off
[ ] return to an interview and start over again with my saved answers

"As an author, I should be able to..."

[ ] designate an interview as "advanced end user" and have all users experience the interview like returning end user will
[ ] do nothing and have this additional end user functionality work with my existing interviews

Viewer feedback came in today with relevant user suggestion for advanced end user functionality.

Code for this feature due to be completed by June 30, 2021. Roll out to production by December 31, 2021

[ ] return to an interview and begin again at the last page I left off (I feel like this should be the default behavior)
[ ] return to an interview and start over again with my saved answers
[ ] see a previous path/button taken for each page (highlight a yes or no button for example)
[ ] send a partially completed interview link to an authorized person (lawyer/legal aid) and they see state of GI thus far w/ answers
[ ] choose to start over clearing any previous answers
[ ] see the list of user answers, same as the debug panel

[ ] see the list of user answers, same as the debug panel

dev notes: I believe we can accomplish the above with moving the debug panel (back) to the viewer, with possibly an additional view that ends up being the table of contents list mentioned in the requirements. 2020-01-21 update: the above seems viable in testing and quick ux/design discussion.

First pass will be a single list of pages by step, with non-visited pages greyed out and disabled.
Visited pages will be available as quick nav to that page (the same as if it had been selected in the Progress drop down)
displaying pages by step will require building a map in that format - ideally running async in the background
also need to address what 'advanced mode' means for tablet and mobile users -layout changes triggered by media-query
make sure to handle visitedPages not being parsed/restored if loading answer file into different interview
